If you’re a salmon lover, you’ll definitely want to learn more ways how to cook salmon and this article will give you more easy recipes for salmon that you can certainly add to your tasty and easy to prepare salmon recipes.

First, the Salmon Mold.

SALMON MOLD

Salmon mold is a delicious dish, very attractive and it’s definitely different from common and popular recipes for salmon that you can always find.

Ingredients:

2 c. salmon

2 Tb. vinegar

1/2 tsp. salt

1/8 tsp. pepper

1 Tb. gelatine

1-1/2 c. boiling water

Procedures:

First get rid off all skin and bones from the salmon when it is taken from the can, and mince it thoroughly with a fork. Add the mixed vinegar, salt, and pepper. Prepare the gelatine by dissolving it in the boiling water. Add the seasoned salmon to the prepared gelatine. With cold water, wet a ring-shaped mold having an open space in the center. Pour the salmon and gelatine mixture into this mold, and allow it to stand until it solidifies. Arrange a bed of lettuce leaves on a chop plate, turn the mold out on this, and fill the center with dressing. Serve at once. Sufficient to serve six.

Second, the Salmon Patties Recipe.

SALMON PATTIES

Salmon patties are usually made from salmon by combining it with bread crumbs and using a thick white sauce to hold the ingredients together. You can either sauted them in shallow fat or fried in deep fat.

Ingredients:

2 c. finely minced salmon

1 c. fresh bread crumbs

1 c. thick white sauce

1/2 tsp. salt

1/8 tsp. pepper

Dry bread crumbs

Procedures:

First step is to mix the fresh bread crumbs and the white sauce with the salmon. Season with salt and pepper and shape into round patties, roll in the dry bread crumbs, and fry in deep fat or saute in shallow fat. Serve hot with or without sauce.

Third, the Salmon Loaf Recipe.

SALMON TIMBALE OR LOAF

Ingredients:

1 can salmon

1 cupful soft bread crumbs

1 1/2 teaspoonfuls chopped parsley

1/2 teaspoonful salt

Pepper

1 or 2 eggs

1 tablespoonful lemon juice

1/4 to 1/2 cupful milk

Procedures;

Combine all the ingredients thoroughly, adding enough milk to moisten. Then pour into buttered timbale molds or into one bowl. Place on a rack in a pan, surround with hot water, and cover. Bake in the oven or cook on top of the range until the fish mixture is firm and is heated thoroughly. Turn out, and serve with White Sauce to which chopped parsley has been added. Peas in White Sauce make a pleasing addition to Salmon Timbale. Tuna fish or other cooked fish may be used instead of salmon.

One key component in finding a good city/neighborhood/area to invest in, is in understanding the vitality and success of an area’s downtown. Downtown revitalization has become a trend that attracts home buyers to buy- and for good reason. If you’re looking to buy into an area with a solid downtown or one that is on the way to a positive revitalization, then read on.

There are many components that can make for a lively downtown core. One key element is diversity. A downtown that attracts different retail outlets, residential residences, culture, entertainment, government and tourist attractions is liable to be a very successful downtown. Many downtown areas may already have these elements. If a downtown is undergoing a revitalization you can probably check with the revitalization committee to see what future intentions and plans they have for the area.

Another ingredient that’ll indicate positive development downtown is that the revitalization seems to be going on in many areas at once. Not only should commercial business and residential areas be sprouting new life, but social programs should be thriving such as youth development and employment services, anti-crime initiatives, recreational opportunities and public transit.

A following key factor for a vibrant downtown area, is the focus and attention paid to the development of unique qualities. Most revitalized downtown’s are built up from a downtown that was there many moons ago. Attractive revitalizations are able to capitalize on the unique history of an area, by restoring older buildings and maintaining their heritage and character. Some areas are able to blend the new and the old, adding artistic flair that ties in with the historic character of the area.

Improved pedestrian pathways, the addition of attractive lights, benches, maps and floral landscaping are all signs that a downtown is cared about and cared for. Furthermore, careful planning with wider sidewalks and landscaping will encourage “on street” commerce and dining. This broadens the public sphere, bringing people closer together and promoting community, which is the main goal and the main attraction of any downtown core.

To know that a revitalization plan is truly supported you’ll want to find out those who are on board. Partnerships are the tell-tale sign of a positive plan. Ideally, chambers of commerce, government, civic institutions, private sectors and other sectors are jointly involved to form a strong alliance for the future of the project.

Supported, happy downtown communities will never go out of style, as we’ve learned in the recent return to the downtown concept. A smart investor will look to cities who care about and invest in the vitality of their downtown’s thriving future.

Cooper Hill asked:

Most Americans associate marijuana use with the hippie movement of the 1970’s. Little do most know, marijuana was very important to this country when it was founded. In 1610 the Jamestown colony mandated that every household cultivate the native Indian hemp. They used it to make clothes, fiber, cloth, and medicine. In fact, the Declaration of Independence was signed July 4, 1776 on hemp paper. In 1850, the Census Bureau estimated that 8,327 plantations nationwide grew hemp. It took all the way until the early 1900’s for the United States to suddenly have a problem with plant.

Southern California and Texas were flooded with immigrants from Mexico around 1910. After long days of laboring they would often smoke marijuana to relax. The US abolished slavery in 1865 but equal rights for non-whites were still far from being realized. As a result, the public started unfairly associating marijuana use with the Mexican immigrants, who they didn’t like because they looked different. El Paso was the first place to outlaw marijuana in 1914 because of a bar fight attributed to “loco weed.” Texas’ first law against marijuana read, “All Mexicans are crazy, and this stuff is what does it to them.” After marijuana was outlawed there, it was only a matter of months before the government enacted The Harrison Act of 1914, followed five years later with The Alcohol Prohibition of 1919. These laws effectively robbed taxpaying citizens’ access to substances that had been legal since the beginning of time.

Fearful of the spread of this terrible “Mexican crazy drug” the government began to put out massive propaganda to discourage the spread of marijuana use. Marijuana use was a conflict of interest for our government because they made tax revenue from doctor-prescribed cocaine, heroin, and morphine. They feared that Americans would obtain marijuana to use as a substitute to these substances and they couldn’t get their hand on those tax dollars. The first campaigns were launched immediately and the commissioner of Federal Bureau of Narcotics proclaimed, “Marijuana is an addictive drug which produces in its users insanity, criminality, and death.”

During the Great Depression, massive unemployment increased public resentment and fear of Mexican immigrants, escalating public and governmental concern about the use of marijuana.  This instigated a flurry of research which linked the use of marijuana with violence, crime and other socially deviant behaviors, primarily committed by racially inferior or underclass communities. By 1931, 29 states had outlawed marijuana.

The hemp industry was obviously disappointed with the turn of events that was unfolding. To make matters worse, due to the Industrial Revolution it was quickly becoming cheaper for the industry to import hemp instead of producing it domestically. With international politics becoming increasingly tense, the US was cut off from most of its Eastern hemp import around 1942. The government needed more rope for its WWII ships and so the government started huge hemp farms in the Midwest to manufacture rope. In one year American hemp farmers harvested 375,000 acres of hemp. In 1944 the New York Academy of Medicine issued an extensively researched report that declared contrary to popular belief, use of marijuana does not induce violence, insanity or *** crimes, or lead to addiction or further drug use.

It was starting to become more obvious to the public that marijuana might not be so dangerous after all, so of course the government stepped in and imposed the Boggs Act of 1952 and the Narcotics Control Act of 1956. Together they set mandatory minimum sentences for first-offense marijuana convicts to 2-10 years along with fines up to $20,000. By 1958 the state of Virginia had a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years for first degree murder. **** had a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years. Possession of marijuana, however, carried a mandatory minimum sentence of 40 years. It wasn’t until 1970 that congress finally repealed most of the mandatory penalties for drug related offenses. It was short-lived though, because congress flipped their position in 1986 when President Reagan signed the Anti-Drug Abuse Act, re-enacting mandatory sentences for marijuana-related offenses.

Finally in 1996 voters in California passed Proposition 215 allowing for the sale and medical use of marijuana for patients with serious conditions. This law stands today despite the DEA’s effort to override the law on a federal level.

Little has changed in the past 13 years as far as the federal government’s view on marijuana. There is hope however, as several elected officials are at least open to debate. Most notably, California governor Arnold Schwarzenneger said, “I think that we ought to study very carefully what other countries are doing that have legalized marijuana and other drugs, what effect it had on those countries, and are they happy with that decision.” He added, “I’m always for an open debate on it.” He isn’t the only prominent political figure to show some support for the cause. San Francisco Assemblyman Tom Ammiano was asked by the San Francisco Chronicle whether legalizing marijuana was just a trick to increase the states revenue. (an estimated $1.3 billion annually) He replied, “It’s also about the failure of the war on drugs and implementing a more enlightened policy. I’ve always anticipated that there could be a perfect storm of political will and public support, and obviously the federal policies are leaning more toward states’ rights.”

There is still plenty more work to do because President Barack Obama is still strongly opposed to leaving marijuana legislation in the state’s hands. On March 26, 2009 the president offered to answer a few questions from the online audience. An overwhelming 3.5 million people voted to ask the president to consider legalizing marijuana to generate revenue. In response the president said, “Three point five million people voted. I have to say that there was one question that was voted on that ranked fairly high and that was whether legalizing marijuana would improve the economy and job creation. And I don’t know what this says about the online audience but I just want — I don’t want people to think that — this was a fairly popular question; we want to make sure that it was answered. The answer is, no, I don’t think that is a good strategy to grow our economy.” All we can do for now is continue to put the facts in front of our politicians and hope that they make the right decisions.

Phil Adams-Wright asked:

A lot of families will argue over where they want to go on holiday, children will want to go to the beach or water parks, teenagers will want to lie by the pool and work on their tan and mum and dad will just want some peace and quiet as well as some much needed rest from work. It can be hard to find a destination that the whole family want and so there’s often compromises made.

Next year the whole family may be better off considering UK holiday parks as there truly is something for everyone. Whilst many families may have wanted to specifically get away to somewhere abroad in the past it’s now getting to the point where flying abroad is becoming a major hassle and thanks to rising flight costs and budget airline closures it is becoming increasingly expensive for most families.

This doesn’t mean that UK holidays are the wet weekend many mis-informed people have painted them as. Here in the UK our summers seem to be getting hotter as the years go by, which means that we are able to make the most of the great British countryside and coastline. The famous holiday parks that are located near to many of the famous coastline resorts have always been a family friendly holiday hot spot and in the past year alone they have seen massive increases in UK family bookings.

The numbers of current and favourite entertainers that have performed at the UK holiday parks have ranged from UK Pop music acts, X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent contestants as well as American WWE wrestlers and a wide range of other acts that will spark each member of the family’s interest.

The large number of activities during the day such as sports and games will keep children of all ages active as well as some other fun activities such as go-karting, trampolining and there’s always the beach nearby. If the weather sours then that’s not the end of the day, many activities are carried out indoors and there are even some parks that have indoor water parks that you’ll have trouble trying to get the children to leave at the end of the day!

Holidays in the UK are not only less hassle and expensive than flying away on a plane (that’s obviously assuming your flight doesn’t get delayed) but there are much more activities and entertainment than holidaying abroad where if the weather takes a turn for the worse then you will likely be herded indoors where there is little else you can do. So for great family holidays whatever the weather choose the UK for your 2010 family holidays!

With UK holiday parks at resorts all over the country it’s easier than ever to find your local family holidays destination.

Sunil S. asked:

Landing a Dubai job has been the top priority of working individuals worldwide for a very long time. Why? As you read this article you will end up wondering why the heck not?

You have probably heard about the craze around job opportunities in Dubai and how everyone and their little puppy dog want to move there? It’s hard to avoid the chatter as more and more people are considering a Dubai career.

So why is everyone so lured to the region? The answer lies mainly in the benefits of a Dubai job. Dubai jobs are not like any other job in any other country. Because of the government’s ambition and vision, they have and are going “out of their way” to attract the best and brightest from all around the world.

It is not easy to do that. Especially not in a land where there are so many fundamental differences in certain aspects of life such as culture, weather, religion, freedom, government and day to day lifestyle just to name a few. To overcome all that, Dubai jobs come with benefits that are far better than what I’ve seen anywhere else in the world.

Here are just a handful of those to give you a preview of how good it can get for you if you are educated and qualified. You also have an upper hand if you carry western (North America/Europe) corporate experience under your belt.

Taxes

A much bigger factor than what most people think or can remember. We are so used to just automatically paying part of our income in tax withholdings that we don’t realize how big of a burden this can be (at least here in America). For someone making a good living from employment, the government “effectively” taxes at nearly 40% (State, Federal, City, FICA, etc). That means 40 cents of every dollar goes to your long lost relative Uncle SAM.

Did you know that if you work in America you work the first 3-4 months of the year for free? That is right. What you make from January to potentially April goes to the government. Only then you start filling your personal coffers. How sad is that?

So if I am making $120,000 annually, I am really only taking home $72,000. That is a healthy 48,000 I am paying in tax! That is $4,000 per month! What can you do with $4,000 extra dollars a month?

Dubai has no personal income tax. You get to keep everything you make! Should I say that again?

Better Total Compensation Packages

To attract the best talent, Dubai jobs usually pay 20% higher on average. So not only will you save on taxes, but you will also make more on your top line salary (basic salary as they call it).

So take my scenario. If I get a 20% raise on $120,000, I am now making $144,000. I get to keep all of it as opposed to only $72,000 if I worked in the USA. So I am practically better off by $72,000. I just doubled my take home. That is a 100% raise!

Perks & Reimbursements

Here is a kicker for you. Put yourself in my shoes and imagine you are making $144,000 in Dubai. Now add to that housing allowance your employer gives you to pay for the sky rocketing rents.

Also add to that gasoline reimbursements for your commute, paid parking, at least one fully paid airfare back home to wherever you are from (this is per Dubai employment laws) and other bells and whistles. Add that on and you are looking at probably another $10,000 or so added to your salary.

Of course you have to negotiate all that. But like I said, if you are educated, qualified and especially if you have Western experience, you will most likely write your own ticket just like the scenario I have you. When it’s good, it’s real good.

Vacation

A Dubai job typically also comes with more vacation time. There are many holidays in Dubai as well that you get off from work in addition to your vacation days. It is not uncommon to get one month’s leave from work on a yearly basis.

And did I mention free airline tickets for you and your family to go back home to whichever country you belong to? That is a very common perk negotiated along with the salary. It is almost unusual not to get it.

International Working Experience

How many times have you seen a job advertisement looking for International experience? How much is usually the starting salary? You are right; it is in very very high demand all around the world.

A job in Dubai will open the doors for you anywhere else in the world. You will be working with the brightest and best in Dubai and companies all around the world would be happy to hire you if you choose to.

Your experience is yours and you can take it anywhere you want to.

Quality of Life

Probably the most underrated benefit of a Dubai job is the quality of life that comes with your career. You will be working in some of the best buildings with state of the art facilities and architecture.

What you touch, sit on, play with will be much better than anything else you have seen. Automobiles are typically cheaper (compared to North America) too by a bit. It has to do with the relaxed trade laws, tariffs and duties.

Overall, it’s just a better lifestyle (mainly for a young professional). There is a lot to do at night, several entertainment options such as shopping, the nightlife, restaurants, hotels, sports, you name it. You can learn more about everything Dubai has to offer you on www.Dubai-Information-Site.com.

According to a study published in the journal “BMC Evolutionary Biology”, some spiders cooperate more with relatives. German researchers divided Stegodyphus tentoriicola spiders into 2 groups – siblings and non-siblings – while studying their food collecting behavior. Siblings worked better together when looking for food and were more likely to share digestive enzymes for quicker eating of prey. Even in large groups, where fracturing interferes with productivity, sibling spiders avoided destructive patterns and were more productive. It seems cooperation among relatives is common in the animal kingdom. For humans with the ability to reason, this should be reasonable.

According to researchers at The Australian National University, male fiddler crabs defend neighboring females from invaders in return for ***. Both males and females are territorial and live in burrows; but males have a large, defensive claw and females have 2 small, feeding claws. When out-of-the-area fiddler crabs were brought in, males fought off male invaders on neighboring females’ territory 95% of the time. However, when the invaders were female, the males fought them off only 15% of the time. *** for protection is a “defense coalition” – something wives should remember when invaded by things like leaking faucets and peeling paint.

According to the U.S. Department of the Interior, the brown pelican was off the endangered list as of November 11, 2009. The brown pelican was declared an endangered species in 1970. For almost 40 years these birds had to struggle to survive being hunted for their feathers and being exposed to widespread habitat loss. However, the recovery of the species is largely due to the 1972 ban on the pesticide DDT, which devastated their population. Brown pelicans are again prevalent across Florida, the Gulf and Pacific coasts and the Caribbean due to the 1973 Endangered Species Act in action.

Animals listed as being critically endangered by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature are presumed to be extinct. Not so, however, with the Beck’s petrel. The Beck’s petrel is a dark brown seabird with a pale belly and a tube-like nose. Although this species hadn’t been seen since the 1920’s, an Israeli ornithologist photographed 30 of them in flight over islands northeast of Papua, New Guinea in March 2008. Because the exact location of their breeding grounds isn’t known, conservationists plan to search the area. Obviously, they hope the saying “birds of a feather flock together” is scientific fact.

Looking for some healthy and easy ground beef recipes that do not require a lot of time to make? Below are 3 delicious ground beef recipes that are filling and real crowd pleasers.

Just because you are cooking with ground beef, does not mean it has to be unhealthy. Most of the ground beef you find in supermarkets today is loaded with fat, cholesterol and hormones, but more and more supermarkets are starting to provide healthy organic meats to consumers, so hopefully you should be able to find healthy ground beef in your area.

To make the following recipes even healthier try and use all organic and low sodium ingredients.

If you happen to live near a Trader Joe’s, by all means shop there. The prices are fantastic and they carry a variety of healthy organic meats and other fine products.

THE RECIPES:

EASY SALISBURY STEAK RECIPE

Here is a little tip to keep in mind as you are making this delicious ground beef recipe. There is a chance that your ground beef steaks can fall apart while cooking. To prevent this from happening, form your steak patties and put them in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or so before you start cooking. This will help hold your steaks stay together.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef

1 egg

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 small onion finely chopped

1 garlic clove chopped

1 tablespoon montreal steak seasoning

Salt and Pepper to taste

3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

1 small package of freshly sliced portobello mushrooms or by them whole and slice yourself

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

2 cups beef stock

Directions:

1. In a large bowl combine the ground beef, egg, garlic, onion, steak seasoning, Worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper. Mix well with your hands. From the mixture, make steak shaped patties that are about 2 inches thick.

2 Heat 1 tablespoon of the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef patties and cook about 4 minutes per side until the outside of the steaks are nicely browned and the juices run clear. Remove the steaks and cover with foil to keep them warm.

3 Add the rest of the olive oil along with the butter to the same pan. Add your mushrooms and then cook over medium heat until they are tender. Approximately 5 minutes. Season the mushrooms with salt and pepper to taste.

4. Add the flour to the mushrooms, mix and cook for about 2 minutes. Slowly add in your beef stock. Stir and cook until your sauce has thickened.

5. Pour gravy over steaks and serve.

1 7 ounce jar roasted red peppers chopped

1 onion chopped

2 cloves of garlic chopped

1 cup of bread crumbs

1 teaspoon of salt

1/2 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper

1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Heat a medium sized saute pan over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add your onion and garlic and saute until soft. Remove and set it aside on a plate to cool.

3. Grab yourself a large mixing bowl.

4. Add the cooled onions and garlic along with the the rest of your ingredients, except the tomato sauce, and combine. Mix together well with your hands and form into a loaf and add it to an oiled oven safe tray. Top the loaf with 1 cup of the prepared tomato sauce. Make certain that you spread the tomato sauce evenly over the top of the loaf.

5. Bake for about 1 hour or when the internal temperature of the meatloaf reaches 160 degrees F. Remove from the oven and let it sit for about 5 minutes. Slice it up and serve.

Heat the remaining tomato sauce if desired and use for dipping.

GREEK STYLE HAMBURGER RECIPE

For our last recipe why not make some delicious burgers? The preferred method for cooking these burgers is on the grill, but they will still be quite tasty if fried on the stovetop.

1 tablespoon of olive oil

2 teaspoons of lemon juice

1/2 cup peeled, seeded and finely diced cucumber

Sauce Directions:

Prepare the sauce for your burgers first and put in the fridge until your burgers are done.

1. In a mixing bowl, combine your olive oil and lemon juice.

2. Now add in your yogurt making sure that you mix it well with the olive oil.

3. Add your garlic, cucumbers, parsley and mint leaves and stir well.

Burger Directions:

1. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-low heat. Add the chopped red onions and cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Put the onions aside into a large mixing bowl and allow them to cool.

2 To the same mixing bowl, add your ground beef, feta cheese, olives, oregano, salt and pepper and combine well.

3. Form hamburger patties to desired thickness.

4. Fry your burgers in the same skillet as the onions, or cook on the grill to desired doneness.

5. Spread the prepared sauce on the rolls or inside a pita.

6. Add burgers and enjoy!

There you have it. Three healthy and easy ground beef recipes that any home cook can prepare. I really hope you enjoy these recipes. Remember to use all organic ingredients if at all possible. Happy Cooking!

Bad and a waste of time?

Audrey Nolan asked:

The Houston Dynamo ended the season with a 3-2 victory over Chivas USA and gained second place in the Western Conference. Andrew Hainault, Dominic Oduro, and Abe Thompson scored for Houston to give the team the win. The first two goals of the game were completed in the first half over a period of only three minutes; the last goal came in the second half. It was only in the second half that the Chivas were roused into action, but their energy wasn’t enough to capture the game. The win over the Chivas gave the Dynamo 48 points, tying the team with Los Angeles for second place. The Dynamo will open the playoffs against the Seattle Sounders FC, with the first match on Thursday. Houston coach Dominic Kinnear was not especially pleased with the playoffs schedule and location. He complained that the Dynamo would have no time to recover from their CONCACAF game in El Salvador on Wednesday before traveling to Seattle the next week. The team rested in California until Tuesday, when it moved to Seattle for the first leg of the playoffs. “I’m not worried about their fitness, I’m worried about how many games they’ve played,” the coach said. “Now we’re playing on Thursday and the league didn’t take into account that we played in CONCACAF on Wednesday. It’s unfair.” Chivas USA fell to fourth place with 45 points. Their next game is against the Los Angeles Galaxy at the Home Depot Center, the first against their longtime rivals in the postseason. Chivas will be at home on Sunday; the Galaxy will host the second match November 8th. The Chivas are not so pleased with fourth place. Their primary goal had been to reach the Western Conference Championships, but with draws against San Jose and New York, the team lost its chances. Their game against the Dynamo followed a similar plotline: plenty of opportunities – 3 shots within the first half hour of the game – a majority of which leapt directly in Houston goalkeeper Pat Onstad’s waiting arms. The Dynamo capitalized on the moment and, in minute 26, Ryan Cochrane headed a corner kick to the front of the net. Just minutes later, Dominic Oduro took the ball from Brad Davis into the penalty area to push Houston’s lead to 2-0. The Dynamo kept their comfortable lead into halftime. Thompson added the third point in minute 52. Chivas finally responded 7 minutes later, with rookie Michael Lahoud’s first goal. Chivas took a second goal at minute 88 with a penalty kick from Eduardo Lillingston. Their final efforts, however, came to naught. The Dynamo took the victory with a 1-point lead. With such effort, Chivas coach Preki Radosavljevic lamented the lack of reward for his team. “The way we played, the way we fought, our energy, hopefully they will get rewarded because there was only one team on the field who played soccer, there was only one team on the field who had chances and that team lost. Quite a few times the game can be cruel,” Radosavlijevic said. “We are not putting our head down.”

5 Top Snow Boarding Destinations

Albert Alexander asked:

Now let me tell you about some of the greatest places that there are to snow board in the world. I really mean I am going to tell you about the places, that if you are a snow boarder you simply must visit if you want to have experienced the greatest snow boarding that is out there.

Solden in Austria

This amazing resort is about 50 miles away from Innsbruck and a further 20 miles away from Otztal. This amazing place has three killer slopes that have three of the speediest lifts in the world that also have some of the best views that I have ever seen. At least one night in the week the slopes open up to give you a chance to go night boarding in style. There is also a firework display and everything else that you can imagine to make the night a success, you can actually go for a drink in between runs and really enjoy all the aspects of snow boarding whilst drinking at the same time. If you have never been night boarding before this is something that you have to check out.

St Anton in Austria

St Anton has some of the best terrain that I have ever seen and that is one of the reasons that I think this place is up here in the best snow boarding destinations. If you like to free style then this is undoubtedly the place to be doing it. The slopes are not very forgiving and unless you like high speed, high octane fun then you should probably go elsewhere. The slope has amazing amounts of powder and really helps and boarder to accelerate a lot faster than they are used to.

Tignes in France

Tignes is without a doubt the place to go if you want to go snowboarding in France. Tignes was one of the first locations to actually welcome snowboarders whilst other felt that skiing was the only thing that you can do on the slopes. But let me tell you one thing ladies and gentleman. This place is also the top place to learn your trade, with a wide range of training courses for those that want to teach snow boarding for a living. If you are looking for tree runs then this is not the place to hang, but it certainly has a lot of excellent runs that you simply must try.

XCAPE BUILDING SNOWZONE in the UK

This is the best in indoor entertainment that is out their. If you think playing your play station is indoor entertainment then you really have another thing coming folks. You only pay an hourly fee for the time you spend on the slopes and that even includes boot hire and hiring of a board. The fact is that this is such as enclosed area, and there are instructors all over the place watching what you do. When I went I got a lot of helpful feedback from instructors and at their own free will. A very good place to learn.

LAAX in Switzerland

This my friends is snow boarding heaven and a must, see and do for everyone. This place is home to some of the biggest snow boarding events in the world, and you never see a pro turn down an opportunity to strut his stuff on these challenging slopes. When an event happens here it really is seen as being cool, as well as whatever else. The top DJs, singers and pop stars all want to come along to associate themselves with whatever is going on. This place has half-pipes galore for those who would rather flip than anything else. The ski lift is also good and for many beginners this is the most enjoyable part of their visit. You will find some challenging slopes as well as other slopes that are tailored for beginners.
